Our Right Care Initiative statewide collaborative founded the San Diego University of Best Practices with support from the National Institutes of Health, Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (NHLBI) between 2009 and 2012. The work continues under the name Be There San Diego University of Best Practices, under the leadership of our founding chairman, cardiologist Anthony DeMaria of UCSD.
